Terms of Service

Effective date: October 17, 2026. These terms cover The Ol' Innkeeper, the Discord bot for the game Protect the Tavern, and this website. The operator is Suepaphly, an individual, not a company.

The game

The bot is a free multiplayer game inside Discord. You play by using slash commands and the buttons those commands show. Kopeks, items, troops, stats, and quest progress are game records. They have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and can be changed, lost, or reset as part of play, an admin command, or a bug fix.

Discord

You need a Discord account to play. Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines apply to your account and to anything you do on Discord. This bot does not replace those rules. If Discord suspends your account, you lose access to the game with it.

Using the bot

Play in servers where the bot has been invited and where you are allowed to use it. Do not abuse the bot, disrupt a server, probe it for access you were not given, or use it to harass other people. Cheating that damages other players' stored progress, or automated play that overwhelms the bot, can get your game records reset.

Server owners decide whether the bot stays in their server. The bot's owner can refuse play, reset a character, or stop operating the bot.

No warranty

The bot and this website are provided as they are. Play can be interrupted by Discord, by the host, or by a bug. There is no promise that a character, balance, or town will be preserved forever.

These terms

If these terms change, the new date will be posted on this page. Continuing to use the bot after that date means you accept the update. Questions and deletion requests go to GitHub issues for TheOldInn-Keeper. See the Privacy Policy for what is stored and how to ask for it to be removed.
